Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) has chalked out mega plans to redevelop Sector 29 as the central business district of Gurgaon. This centrally located sector is flanked by the National Highway 48 on the western side and the Delhi Metro Station Terminal Station of Yellow Line towards the eastern side.
The prime sector spread over 482 acres, has 100 acres of developed land in the form of housing societies, markets, hotels etc. HSVP will be giving a complete facelift to the sector , especially focusing on the 382 acres of vacant land. For this it is appointing a consultant for urban planning. The consultant will be tasked to create a vision statement, designing a layout plan , optimizing infrastructure and transport planning including drainage system to meet future needs. He will also outline new roadways , social infrastructure etc to transform the area into a commercial business district.
The consultant’s mandate will also focus on preparing a GIS-based base map, with real estate advisory for the optimal usage of land, preparing urban design guidelines, incorporating greenways, pedestrian paths, undertaking market perception study and demand assessment.He will be responsible for preliminary engineering design for water and waste-water system , roads, junctions and bridges, power distribution system, ICT duct network and street side landscape.
