Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has come up with its 20-year Draft Development Plan. The proposed plan for Rs 10558 crore, will undertake the development of roads, sports infra, social and cultural facilities, gardens/parks, besides upgradation of CIDCO infrastructure. 

In the proposed development plan, 625 plots have been reserved for providing several amenities including an international standard sports stadium on 75-acre land parcel. As many as 125 plots have been reserved for parking as the Navi Mumbai population is expected to rise by 3.77 lakhs by the year 2038. 

NMMC has put its Draft Development Plan in the public domain for inviting suggestions and objections from the citizens in the next two months.
