Colliers India which has forayed into residential services, has appointed Ravi Shankar Singh as its Managing Director to lead this India verical . With over two decades of experience with top real estate firms, Ravi is adept in a broad spectrum of real estate capabilities, including residential transactions, investment sales, real estate portfolio management, and structuring real estate offerings for HNI clientele. Ravi will be based out of Colliers’ Gurugram office.
Ravi will utilize his strategic acumen and industry expertise to drive sales and provide comprehensive advisory services for upmarket residential properties. As the home sales process has greatly evolved with much higher consumer involvement demanding quality service, Ravi will leverage the immense potential of the residential sector and the uptick in home buyer sentiment for the growth of the residential vertical.
Saket Dalmia is President India Sotheby’s International Realty
Saket Dalmia has joined the India Sotheby’s International Board as President after making investments in the company. A BBA from Georgetown University and a double major in international finance from Oxford University and International Economics from University of Antwerp (Belgium), Saket carries with him over two decades of experience in successfully running businesses.
For the past 15 years, Saket has dedicated himself to industry bodies like PHD Chambers of Commerce (serving as the youngest ever President) . He leads the Young Business Leader Forum and has represented PHDCCI at the World Economic Forum , Davos in 2023. He continues to play a pivotal role in policy advocacy and catalysing reforms across multiple sectors.
Saket will be instrumental in driving strategy , fostering growth and identifying new businesses at Sotheby’s which is now targeting sales transaction turnover of USD 1 Billion in its 10th year of operation.
Rajat Khandelwal is CEO, Tribeca Developers
Rajat Khandelwal has taken over as the Group CEO of Tribeca Developers to lead the company’s strategic initiatives and business expansion plans .
A PGDM in Finance and Marketing from the prestigious IIM Kozhikode and a B.E in Mechanical Engineering from SGSITS, Indore, Rajat brings with him about two decades of rich experience in real estate. Earlier he served as the President of Central Park in Delhi NCR, as the CEO of West India of Ozone Group and as the COO of Omkar Developers.
Leveraging his strong financial acumen and proven ability in leadership roles, Rajat will be spearheading the business towards success and growth of the company.
New Chiefs of Gurugram & Panchkula RERA
Haryana has made appointments of heads of H- RERA (Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority ) benches in Gurugram and Panchkula. A retired IAS of Haryana cadre ,who served as chief of Directorate General of Civil Aviation(DGCA) and Deputy Commissioner Chandigarh , Arun Kumar has been appointed as the Chairman of Gurugram bench of H-RERA. The post of H-RERA (Gurugram) was vacant since the retirement of its first chairman K.K Khandelwal in February 2023.
Retired IRS officer Parneet Singh Sacxhdev has been appointed as the chief of H-RERA’s Panchkula bench
The tenure of the office of the Chairperson, H-RERA ( Gurugram and Panchkula ) will be five years or till the age of 65, whichever is earlier.
YEIDA CEO Term Extended
The Uttar Pradesh government has extended the term of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) CEO, Arun Vir Singh by six months. This is the fifth extension Singh has received since 2019, after retiring from Uttar Pradesh government. He will continue as YEIDA CEO till 30 June 2024 after his previous term expired on 31 December 2023.
Arun Vir Singh will also continue to work as the CEO of the Noida International Airport Limited, which is slated to become operational by 2024 end.
