With an aim to further simplify the home buying and renting journey, India’s leading online real estate portal, Housing.com has formally launched Housing Premium, a facility that allows buyers and tenants to directly connect with home owners – sellers or landlords. The offering has already seen strong consumer adoption in its pre-launch phase and the company is now looking to further expand its user base for the service.
Live for all Tier-I and Tier-II cities for both rent and resale segments, the Housing Premium service helps home owners and home seekers save their valuable time besides helping them save big on brokerage charges. The facility also offers instant alerts to subscribers in addition to dedicated relationship managers to handhold them through their home buying or renting journey.
Valid for a period of 60 days, which is unique in its category, the Housing Premium service offers 3 options to subscribe – Basic, Premium and Assisted categories. Under the Basic offering, a user gets access to up to 10 home owner contacts. This number is 25 in the case of the Premium offering. In the Assisted offering, the user is free to contact an unlimited number of contacts on the Housing platform. In addition, the users will be assigned dedicated relationship managers to handhold them through the entire home buying or renting journey.
To make the offer more attractive to users, Housing.com allows users to directly get in touch with up to two home owner contacts without purchasing a Housing Premium subscription. After being satisfied with the offering, the user can then opt for paid Housing Premium services. In case customers are not satisfied with the services, they will have the option to claim a 100% refund of fees. Sangeet Aggarwal, Head Product & Design, Housing.com, PropTiger.com & Makaan.com says that since a transaction could involve spending a person’s lifetime of savings, keeping it real and personal is of essence.
In the pre-launch phase, Housing.com has attracted more than 25,000 subscribers for Housing Premium. Dhruv Agarwala, Group CEO, Housing.com, PropTiger.com & Makaan.com believes that considering a highly encouraging response to their pre-launch offer, this service may well become a big differentiator for the company in the future.
