Sanjeev Krishan Re-elected PwC India Chairman

Sanjeev Krishan has been re-elected as the India chairman of PwC for the second straight term His first 4-year term started on January 1, 2021.

Having more than 3 decades of experience with PwC, Krishan rose to the key post of Partner in 2006, leading the firm’s deals, transactions and private

equity business. He also had an opportunity to serve briefly with PwC Sweden working with several private equity funds and corporate clients, mostly on cross-border deals. He is credited with leveraging technology in helping drive innovation and efficiency across the firm.

Krishan’s new stint as chairman with PwC India will begin from April 1, 2025. In addition to playing the role of chairman, he will continue to serve on the PwC Global strategy Council.

Key Appointments at Anarock Corporate Leasing

Anarock Corporate Leasing has made key appointments by inducting Surabhi Gupta in the role of Executive Director, Corporate Leasing & Advisory, heading the North region and Karan Gupta as Director, Leasing.

Surabhi brings with her a widespread experience in tenant strategy development and transaction management. Her skills and specialization includes tenant transactions , new business development , key account management, growing high performing teams and successfully executing comprehensive commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Karan Gupta who has been appointed as Director, Corporate Leasing and Advisory with Anarock, has close to 8 years of experience with Colliers where he held the responsibilities of Senior Manager, Corporate Solutions Asia Pacific and later as Associate Director, Occupier Strategy, Asia.

Pooranimaa Hariharan Joins as Partner with  Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas . 

Pooranimaa  Hariharan has joined the premier law firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as a Partner in corporate practice at the firm’s Bengaluru office.

Prior to her new appointment, she was  a counsel with Trilegal, Bengaluru. Hariharan, a B.A. LLB, Law from Symbiosis Law School, Pune  had a close to  7 year stint with JSA,  It is her second stint with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. She had earlier served with  Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff  &  Company .She practices and specializes  in the areas of private equity  and mergers and acquisitions , in addition to general corporate commercial and advisory work. She has represented  buyers/ investors and promoters/sellers/target entities in acquisitions, investments, exits, joint ventures, asset acquisitions  and business transfers.

Asma Javed is Head Leasing at Navraj Group

Asma Javed has joined Navraj Group as their new head of leasing.  She will spearhead all leasing activities across the group’s diverse portfolio of commercial and retail properties.

Asma has a rich experience in commercial and retail leasing, handling national and international brands. In her previous roles, she successfully managed large-scale leasing projects and developed strong client relationships across various industries. In her new position, Asma will handle strategic leasing plans, tenant relationships and occupancy optimization for Navraj Group’s assets.
