Realty firm House of Hiranandani has provided on lease 2.72 lakh sq ft of office space to Accenture Solutions at its commercial project in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) for a monthly rent of Rs 1.9 crore, sources said.

The leasing agreement, one of the major deals this year, was registered recently, according to PTI.

According to sources, global technology and consulting giant Accenture Solutions Pvt Ltd has finalised a long-term commercial lease with House of Hiranandani for 2.72 lakh sq ft of Grade-A office space at the ‘Centaurus’ commercial tower in Hiranandani Estate township project in Thane.

Accenture has taken on lease for 10 years with a monthly rental of Rs 1.9 crore. House of Hiranandani will receive payment of nearly Rs 269 crore over the entire tenure.

Real estate consultant JLL India facilitated the leasing deal.

House of Hiranandani spokesperson declined to comment on the development.

The 21-storey commercial tower has 1.9 million sq ft of built-up area. The commercial campus currently hosts many big companies, including Tata Consultancy Services, BNP Paribas, IDFC First Bank, ICICI Bank, Bayer CropScience, and WeWork.

The project is located within the 375-acre Hiranandani Estate township.

Mumbai-based House of Hiranandani group, founded by Surendra Hiranandani, has projects in Mumbai, Thane, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The group has delivered more than 51 million sq ft of area so far.

As per JLL data, gross leasing of office spaces across seven major cities declined 4 per cent to 37.90 million sq ft in January-June this year from 39.45 million sq ft in the year-ago period.

However, leasing in Mumbai rose 18 per cent to 5.88 million sq ft from 4.99 million sq ft.
