The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority has extended the deadline for filing the Quarterly Progress Report (QPR) for the quarter ending September 30, 2026, once again. Promoters can now submit their QPRs by October 31, 2026. Earlier, the Authority had extended the deadline to October 21, 2026. The latest extension has been granted to help promoters and related professionals implement the new digital signature process smoothly.
Under the new system, the prescribed certificates issued by the Architect, Engineer and Chartered Accountant must be digitally signed using a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) and submitted along with the QPR on the UP-RERA portal. The deadline has been extended to ensure the effective implementation of this new system and to make the report filing process smoother.
Digital Signatures Mandatory on All Three Certificates
Under the new system, digital signatures are mandatory on all three prescribed certificates submitted with the QPR. These include REG-1, issued by the Architect; REG-2, issued by the Engineer; and REG-3, issued by the Chartered Accountant. All these certificates must be digitally signed and uploaded to the UP-RERA portal as per the prescribed procedure.
Digital signatures on these certificates are an important part of the QPR filing process. Promoters must ensure that the required certificates are obtained from the concerned professionals in the prescribed format, digitally signed, and submitted along with the QPR on the portal.
Deadline Extended Due to the Introduction of the Digital Process
UP-RERA is implementing the system of submitting digitally signed certificates along with the QPR for the first time. Under this change, promoters, architects, engineers and chartered accountants must adopt the new digital process. Additional time may be required to complete the technical formalities and understand the procedure for uploading certificates on the portal.
Keeping this in mind, the Authority had earlier extended the QPR filing deadline to October 21, 2026. Promoters have now been given additional time, with the final deadline extended to October 31, 2026. This extension will help the concerned parties prepare the required documents and submit their reports in accordance with the new system.
Promoters Directed to File QPR by October 31
UP-RERA has directed all concerned promoters to submit the QPR for the quarter ending September 30, 2026, along with the required REG-1, REG-2 and REG-3 certificates, by October 31, 2026. Promoters have been advised not to wait until the last date and to complete the filing process in advance, ensuring that all required certificates carry valid digital signatures.
Detailed instructions and technical guidelines for submitting certificates through the DSC-based process are available on the UP-RERA portal. Promoters and concerned professionals can follow these guidelines to complete the QPR filing process within the extended deadline.
