Adani Cement has entered into a strategic partnership with the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) to support India’s expanding construction needs and advance the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. The collaboration aims to enhance quality standards, promote sustainable building practices, and strengthen skill development across housing, commercial, and infrastructure projects nationwide.

Bringing together India’s leading building materials and solutions player with the country’s foremost real estate institution, the partnership is designed to strengthen quality, sustainability, and execution excellence across housing, commercial, and infrastructure projects nationwide. This partnership will jointly roll out skill-building and certification programmes for masons and contractors, ensuring the workforce is equipped with contemporary techniques, safety practices, and evolving industry standards. Dedicated training modules for site supervisors from NAREDCO member organisations will further strengthen on-ground project execution and quality control.

This collaboration will also serve as a platform for knowledge sharing and technology exchange, enabling wider access to advanced concrete solutions, innovative construction practices, and modern building materials. Adani Cement will work closely with NAREDCO’s national and regional councils to share technical expertise that enhances structural performance, durability, and environmental responsibility.

In addition, the strategic partners will explore integrated building solutions, including ready-mix concrete (RMX), and support efforts toward affordable and inclusive housing. Special commercial programmes will be extended to NAREDCO members to improve competitiveness and enable more efficient project delivery. Both organisations will also engage constructively on housing and urban development priorities, supporting sustainable and liveable urban growth.

The partnership is particularly relevant for rapidly urbanising cities and emerging growth centres, where demand for reliable, efficient, and environmentally responsible construction is accelerating.

Vinod Bahety, CEO – Cement Business, Adani Group, said, “This partnership reflects a shared commitment to nation-building and to creating an ecosystem where quality, innovation, and sustainability are integral to every project. By working closely with NAREDCO, we aim to equip developers with advanced materials, deeper technical support, and structured knowledge platforms that can improve performance across the entire project lifecycle.”

Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani, Chairman, NAREDCO, said, “The association between NAREDCO and Adani Cement reflects the need for more responsible construction practices as urban areas continue to expand. Growing cities require development that is efficient, well-planned, and mindful of environmental impact. Adani Cement’s work in green cement and low-carbon technologies supports this objective. NAREDCO has consistently encouraged green building initiatives, policy engagement, and responsible development across the sector. By providing a platform for developers and allied stakeholders, we aim to promote practical adoption of sustainable construction practices rather than just intent.”

Parveen Jain, President, NAREDCO, said, “This association reflects a shared intent to work together on sustainability and promote responsible practices within the real estate and construction ecosystem. By coming together, both organisations aim to strengthen collaboration, encourage the adoption of green building norms, and create a more supportive framework for sustainable development. The partnership is expected to further reinforce mutual engagement and build a stronger foundation for continued cooperation on environmental and industry priorities.”

Established in 1998 under the aegis of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, NAREDCO provides a unified platform for developers, financial institutions, public sector undertakings, and government agencies to address key challenges facing India’s real estate sector. With a membership base of over 15,000 organisations, it plays a pivotal role in policy advocacy, transparency, and long-term sectoral reform.

The partnership will progress through regular engagements, conferences, training programmes, and collaborative initiatives, promoting modern construction technologies, green materials, and process improvements aligned with India’s long-term development priorities. Through this collaboration, Adani Cement and NAREDCO aim to contribute to a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable built environment, essential to realising the aspirations of a Viksit Bharat.
