Singapore-based CapitaLand Investment Ltd. is in advanced discussions to sell its International Tech Park Chennai, Radial Road, to Mindspace Business Parks REIT, according to people familiar with the matter. The 4.6 million square feet office park is owned by a private Indian real estate fund managed by CapitaLand Investment and comprises four office blocks, as per the company’s website.
The two firms are in discussions about the property — International Tech Park Chennai, Radial Road — that’s owned by a private Indian real estate fund managed by CapitaLand Investment. The 4.6 million square feet (427,350 square meter) park will have four office blocks, CapitaLand’s website shows, according to a Bloomberg report.
An agreement might be reached as soon as next month, the people said, asking not to be identified because the talks are private. Negotiations are ongoing and may face delays or fall apart, while other bidders could emerge, they added.
CapitaLand Investment and Mindspace REIT declined to comment.
