DLF Cyber City Developers Limited (DCCDL), the rental arm of India’s premier real estate company, DLF Limited, will be investing INR 6000 crore to construct 75 lakh sq ft of office and retail spaces in Gurgaon.
Rising to tap the growing demand for top quality green commercial spaces, DCCDL has commenced construction of 55 lakh sq ft of Grade A plus office spaces in the new phase of its ultra-premium commercial project, ” DLF Downtown’ in Gurgaon. The joint venture company between DLF and Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund-GIC, has also started the construction of DLF Mall of India in Gurgaon over 20 lakh sq ft.
Significantly, DLF Group has an operational rental portfolio of 40.4 million sq ft of which 36.4 million sq ft area is office space and 4 million sq ft of retail real estate. DCCDL’s rental income from office and retail spaces rose 10 percent to INR 1194 crore in the third quarter of this fiscal to INR 1194 crore. Out of this the office assets contributed INR 962 crore of rental income, up 10 percent from INR 876 crore in the year-ago period. The rental income from retail spaces grew to INR 231 crore.
