EBG Group has announced a strategic partnership with adventure-driven sustainable tourism brand Tarzan to introduce Tarzan Resorts, a new eco-luxury hospitality concept aimed at redefining experiential travel in India.
The collaboration combines Tarzan’s expertise in adventure tourism with EBG Group’s investment and operational capabilities, marking a significant expansion into the eco-luxury segment.
The venture will see the creation of 100 eco-luxury pods across 20 destinations by March 2026, with an average investment of INR 30 lakh per pod. Each resort will offer theme-based, design-led accommodations that immerse guests in nature while maintaining high standards of comfort and aesthetics. The initiative is expected to contribute significantly to EBG Group’s revenue growth in the eco-luxury vertical by FY2026, while providing attractive ROI for strategic and franchise investors.
Tarzan Resorts will be launched under three distinct formats — Signature Pods, Flagship Resorts, and FOCO (Franchise-Owned, Company-Operated) Pods — catering to varying traveler segments and investor interests.
Signature Pods will provide immersive, destination-led luxury experiences, while Flagship Resorts will combine adventure, wellness, and leisure in large-format nature retreats. FOCO Pods will enable scalable, compact hospitality models designed for franchise partners seeking sustainable investments.
The rollout will cover some of India’s most scenic regions including Munnar, Coorg Ooty, Mount Abu, Alibaug, Rishikesh, Dharamshala, Goa, Shillong, Tawang, and and Bandhavgarh, among others. Each destination has been selected for its natural and cultural appeal, reflecting the brand’s focus on responsible travel and authentic experiences.
