Godrej Properties Ltd has acquired a 23.2-acre land parcel in Greater Noida through auction for over Rs 500 crore to develop a housing project and aims to generate Rs 7,000 crore in revenue from the upcoming asset.
In 2025-26, Godrej Properties acquired 18 land parcels to develop housing projects, which have a combined revenue potential of Rs 42,100 crore, as part of its expansion plan to meet strong consumer demand.
In a regulatory filing on Monday, the company informed that it has “won the bid for a 23.2 acres (93,905 square metre) residential land parcel in DMIC integrated township, Greater Noida, through an e-auction”.
Commenting on the acquisition, Godrej Properties MD and CEO Gaurav Pandey said, “We have witnessed consistent demand for our existing projects in Noida, and we remain bullish on this market. This will further strengthen our development portfolio in Delhi-NCR and fits well with our strategy of deepening our presence in key micro markets across India’s leading cities”.
The latest acquisition is part of the company’s aggressive expansion strategy. During 2025-26, Godrej Properties added 18 land parcels with a combined revenue potential of Rs 42,100 crore to cater to sustained housing demand.
Godrej Properties, one of the country’s leading real estate developers, has delivered nearly 80 million square feet of real estate since 2017-18. The company expands its land bank through both outright purchases and partnerships with landowners for residential development.
The developer emerged as the top listed real estate company in terms of sales bookings in both 2023-24 and 2024-25.
