Godrej Properties on Tuesday said it has sold more than 1,000 apartments in Bengaluru for Rs 2,000 crore in its newly-launched residential project.

In a regulatory filing, the company said that it has “sold homes worth over Rs 2,000 crore in its project Godrej Vanantara in Bengaluru.”

The project, spread over 36 acre, has a total developable area potential of 3.53 million sq ft and an estimated revenue potential of Rs 3,700 crore, PTI reported.

Godrej Properties launched this project in the first week of June. More than 1,000 homes have been sold in the launch week.

Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO of Godrej Properties, said, “The strong traction we have seen reinforces our belief that a customer-first approach, backed by thoughtful planning and execution, will continue to shape the future of residential development.”

Godrej Properties is one of the leading real estate developers in the country. It develops group housing projects primarily in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), Pune, Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
