fit20, a leading global health and fitness brand, is preparing to launch its chain of premium boutique fitness studios in India. The Netherland -based premium strength training concept, known for its 20-minute once a week training method, has chalked out a multi-pronged  launch strategy including franchise and corporate outlets, besides entering into  partnerships with luxury real estate developers for setting up fitness studios in high-end residential developments.

The global chain has roped in a retail veteran Dr Dheeraj Dogra  as its India representative for the brand launch and its expansion across India. Having  already established a strong presence across Europe, Middle-East Asia, and North America, fit20 is now entering India, one of the world’s fastest-growing wellness economies with a clear mission to bring science-backed strength training and preventive health solutions  to India’s growing population of professionals and corporations.

According to Dogra, a multi-pronged strategy will be adopted for setting up fit20 studios in corporate offices , premium residential developments besides opening franchised outlets.  As per Netherland-based  Master Franchisee India represents one of the most dynamic and fast evolving consumer markets in the world and the company’s goal is to bring our Dutch heritage of quality ,innovation and design to the Indian doorstep. Dr Dogra adds that fit20 will bridge the gap between European excellence and Indian aspirations.

There is another USP of this corporate-friendly time-efficient, science-based , strength-focused  and longevity fitness programme  for all ages as the company will set up climate-controlled  fitness studios, eliminating the need for sweaty workouts in traditional crowded gyms.Instructors will be certified and trained at fit20 academy.

Talking about the launch strategy, Dogra says that the initial focus will be to open company-owned outlets in corporate offices where our boutique fitness studios can be set up over 1200 sq ft space.” For setting up regular franchised outlets, we will be focusing on North-India’s high priority tier-2 cities like  Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow ,besides Delhi-NCR.We would also be looking at partnering with luxury real estate developers who would provide  our boutique fitness studios in their upmarket residential developments as a world-class amenity for the residents”.

      .

As India’s corporate wellness market and preventive health sector are expanding rapidly, driven by increasing health awareness, workplace stress, and lifestyle-related health risks, it presents a huge opportunity for fit20. Its entry into India comes at a time when both individuals and organizations are actively seeking smarter, more sustainable wellness solutions.Currently present in 5 continents and more than 14 countries, fit20’s  initial focus, according to Dogra ,will be on major business hubs including Delhi- NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, with expansion plans to follow through corporate partnerships and franchise-led growth.
