Hilton is accelerating its momentum in Asia Pacific, surpassing 160 trading hotels across its luxury and lifestyle portfolio following recent openings in Hong Kong, Qingdao, and Osaka. Fueled by strong demand for unique, experience-driven stays and the region’s resurgent travel market, Hilton is set to grow its supply in these high-value segments by at least 50% in the coming years.

Backed by brand debuts, a robust development pipeline, and strategic partnerships, the hospitality giant is positioning Asia Pacific as a key growth engine for its next phase of expansion.

Hilton debuts Motto by Hilton Hong Kong Soho, introducing a connected lifestyle experience with thoughtfully designed rooms, vibrant public spaces, and locally inspired dining, following this year’s openings of Waldorf Astoria Osaka and Secan Hotel Qingdao, Curio Collection by Hilton.

Over the next 12 months, Hilton will open five new properties across Asia, including Waldorf Astoria Shanghai Qiantan and Nivata Koh Samui, with Waldorf Astoria Bali debuting in 2027 and NoMad Singapore and Canopy Makati opening in 2026.

Asia Pacific as a key growth engine

“Asia Pacific continues to be an engine of growth for Hilton’s luxury and lifestyle brands. The appetite for distinctive, experience-led stays is stronger than ever, and Hilton is proud to lead the way in shaping the future of hospitality in this vibrant region,” said Alan Watts, President, Asia Pacific, Hilton.

Future portfolio expansion plans

Over the coming years, Hilton will expand its luxury and lifestyle portfolio across Asia and beyond, opening seven Waldorf Astoria properties, multiple Conrad and LXR Hotels, Signia’s debut in India, Curio Collection in Bengaluru, Wuxi, and Langkawi, and Canopy locations in Bangkok and Okinawa.

Leadership perspective on growth

“Hilton brands lead the industry in terms of rooms under construction in this region. In Asia Pacific we are on track to double our presence of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts and LXR Hotels & Resorts properties in Asia Pacific, while debuting NoMad and Signia by Hilton and expanding our lifestyle brands which are seeing surging interest from owners across the region,” said Clarence Tan, Senior Vice President, Development, Asia Pacific, Hilton.

Strategic partnerships and acquisitions

Hilton has strengthened its luxury and lifestyle portfolio by acquiring a majority stake in Sydell Group to grow the NoMad brand globally and partnering exclusively with Small Luxury Hotels of the World, offering guests access to hundreds of unique, independent luxury hotels worldwide.
