Krisumi Corporation, the joint venture between Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation and India’s Krishna Group, has commenced the development of The Forest Reserve & The Forest Reserve-II, Phases 5 and 6 of Krisumi City in Sector 36A, Gurugram, with the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony marking the commencement of construction.
The development will entail an investment of over Rs 1,300 crore over the next five years and is estimated to have a revenue potential of over Rs 4,000 crore. The two phases will together comprise 542 units.
Commenting on the commencement of development, Ashok Kapur – Chairman, Krisumi Corporation, said, “The commencement of The Forest Reserve marks an important milestone for Krisumi Corporation as we continue to expand Krisumi City. This development brings together our core philosophy of Japanese craftsmanship and Indian hospitality with a strong focus on nature, thoughtful design and quality. With its scale, investment and distinctive residential proposition, The Forest Reserve will further strengthen our presence in Gurugram’s premium residential market.”
The Forest Reserve is planned as an ultra-luxury residential development featuring 2, 3 and 4 LDK residences, where expansive living spaces are shaped by the principles of Japanese spatial planning and functionality. Designed by the renowned Japanese architectural firm Nikken Sekkei, the development will span approximately 1.67 million sq. ft., bringing together considered architecture and a nature-inspired residential experience.
The development will comprise residences ranging from approximately 2,166 sq. ft. to 3,993 sq. ft. Prices start from approximately ₹4.9 crore onwards, depending on the configuration and applicable charges.
Extending this philosophy of considered living beyond the home, Krisumi City features The Cascades Club, a 162,000 sq. ft. club experience accessible to residents of The Forest Reserve. Conceived as a luxury private members’ club, it brings together recreation, indulgence and meaningful moments of connection within an exclusive setting. Rooted in Krisumi’s Indo-Japanese philosophy of precision and warmth, the club offers spa rituals inspired by Japanese stillness, signature dining, refined lounges, an indoor sports arena and a curated calendar of members-only evenings. More than a collection of amenities, The Cascades Club is an invitation to embrace a richer, more immersive way of living, where thoughtfully curated experiences, considered details and moments of quiet indulgence come together to elevate the everyday.
The Forest Reserve forms part of Krisumi City, a 33.38-acre integrated development in Sector 36A, Gurugram. Envisioned as a holistic urban ecosystem, the larger development brings together residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and social infrastructure, creating a destination designed to accommodate the many facets of contemporary life.
Strategically located along the Dwarka Expressway, Krisumi City offers connectivity to key destinations across Gurugram and Delhi. Its location also positions the development to benefit from the continued expansion of the surrounding infrastructure.
With the commencement of Phases 5 and 6, Krisumi Corporation advances the next chapter of Krisumi City, reaffirming its long-term commitment to creating premium residential environments that bring together Japanese design sensibilities and Indian hospitality. Through this distinctive cultural confluence, the company continues to shape spaces where thoughtful design, enduring quality and a deep appreciation for the finer nuances of living come together.
