Krisumi unveils ‘The Forest Reserve’ with ₹4,000-crore revenue potential

Marking a decade of Indo-Japanese collaboration, Krisumi Corporation has unveiled The Forest Reserve, the next ultra-luxury phase of its flagship development on Dwarka Expressway. Spread across nearly 1.67 million sq. ft., the project carries an estimated revenue potential of around ₹4,000 crore and reflects the group’s evolving vision of building a “mini-Japanese city” in India.

Blending Japanese design philosophy with nature-led living, the new phase aims to elevate Gurugram’s premium housing landscape, capitalising on the rapid transformation of the Dwarka Expressway into one of NCR’s most sought-after real estate corridors.

Speaking about the genesis of nearly a decade long partnership with Sumitomo Group and his vision behind the project, Ashok Kapur, Chairman of Krishna Group and Krisumi Corporation, said, “I have maintained a close personal acquaintance with Japan for years and am deeply influenced by Japanese philosophy and design sensibilities.

We partnered with Sumitomo nearly a decade ago with a shared vision of creating a credible, meticulous mini-Japanese city. Today, Krisumi stands synonymous with superior quality, world-class design, and disciplined execution, backed by Japanese architecture, project management, and the trusted legacy of the Sumitomo and Krishna Groups. This authenticity is reflected in our community, where approximately 25% of the resident families are Japanese, creating a truly global living environment.

“We are the pioneers of the Dwarka Expressway. Launching our first project at ₹8,500 per sq. ft. despite the connectivity delays at Dwarka Expressway at that time, today Krisumi City commands around ₹24,000 per sq. ft., reflecting strong value creation and market leadership. With proximity to the upcoming Global City and improving connectivity between Gurugram and Delhi, prices are expected to rise further. Krisumi City is evolving into a distinctive mini-Japanese township and a landmark development in the region” Mr. Kapur added.

Krisumi has successfully launched four phases of its flagship project, Krisumi City, anchored by the landmark delivery of Waterfall Residences well ahead of schedule. This proven reliability sparked an incredible market response, with Waterfall Suites and Waterfall Suites-II being completely sold-out.

Sharing his thought-provoking views on the occasion, Mr. Yuji Kato, Co-CEO & Director, Krisumi Corporation, said, “Over the past decade, Krisumi has become a symbol of Indo-Japanese collaboration, driven by a shared vision of excellence. Our approach rests on three pillars: world-class design, meticulous construction management, and a curated lifestyle. Together, these reflect a commitment to precision and quality as we set new benchmarks in modern urban living.”

Mr. Kunal Rishi, Chief Operating Officer, Krisumi Corporation, said, “Krisumi City on Dwarka Expressway stands at the centre of a rapidly evolving connectivity ecosystem, seamlessly linked to key business districts and critical infrastructure corridors. This strategic positioning significantly enhances its appeal, firmly establishing it as one of the most aspirational and well-connected addresses in the region.”

Krisumi is set to launch its fifth and sixth phase: The Forest Reserve. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Chinju-no-mori (sacred shrine forests), this phase is envisioned as a “forest in the middle of a metro.” Featuring exclusive 4 LDK of approx. 4000 sq.ft. and spacious 3 LDK of approx. 3000 sq.ft residences, the project blends nature-led living with elevated wellness. By integrating Japanese aesthetics into the heart of Gurugram, The Forest Reserve is poised to redefine the city’s skyline, offering an immersive lifestyle that honours both tradition and modern luxury.

Dr. Ananta Singh Raghuvanshi, President, Sales & Marketing, Krisumi Corporation, shared the market overview and insights as to why the investor must act fast and now,

“Strategically located at the epicentre of Gurugram’s growth corridor, Krisumi City reflects the vision of a Viksit Bharat. The project offers seamless connectivity to the Dwarka Expressway, Southern Peripheral Road, Manesar Urban Corridor, and NH-8—reinforcing Krisumi City’s biggest strength: location, location and location.

It exemplifies both capital creation and capital appreciation—the development itself represents capital creation, while nearly threefold growth over the last five to six years reflects strong appreciation, with significant potential for future growth. This is further supported by its proximity to the upcoming Global City, where the tallest tower in India is planned.

Additionally, the delivered phase is now being leased at approximately ₹100 per sq. ft., indicating strong rental returns and making it a compelling proposition for investors
