Manasum Senior Living, one of the leading organised senior living developers, has partnered with India’s leading healthcare platform Tata 1mg to strengthen healthcare access for residents across its communities, as operators increasingly integrate healthcare and wellness into senior living.

India’s elderly population is projected to increase from around 162 million in 2025 to nearly 347 million by 2050, driving demand for organised senior living communities that combine housing with healthcare and preventive wellness. Against this backdrop, the partnership reflects the sector’s growing focus on delivering integrated care closer to where seniors live.

The initiative aims to address the evolving healthcare needs of senior citizens, particularly those living with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases and arthritis, by improving access to preventive healthcare, diagnostics, medicines and timely medical consultations.

The partnership will initially be rolled out at Manasum Riva in north Bengaluru, benefiting around 230 residents, and will subsequently be extended to the Ikigai Goa.

Under the collaboration, residents will have access to 24×7 online consultations with general physicians, specialist consultations between 9 am and 9 pm, medical rooms with paramedic care, annual health check-up camps, vaccination drives, along with pharmacy and diagnostic services through Tata 1mg’s integrated digital healthcare platform.

Over the next 12 to 24 months, the two organisations aim to drive greater adoption of preventive health check-ups, online consultations, diagnostics and medicine deliveries, while assessing resident engagement and service utilisation. The partnership is also expected to expand to additional Manasum communities as the programme evolves.

Commenting on the partnership, Anantharam V. Varayur, Co-Founder, Manasum Senior Living, said, “Senior living today is about much more than providing a home. It is about creating an ecosystem that enables residents to age with confidence, independence and dignity. Healthcare is one of the most important pillars of that ecosystem. Through our partnership with Tata 1mg, we are making trusted healthcare services more accessible by bringing consultations, diagnostics, medicines and preventive care closer to our residents. We chose Tata 1mg because of its integrated healthcare platform, which brings together essential healthcare services under one ecosystem and supports our vision of building communities where wellbeing is as important as quality housing.”

Anushka Agarwal, Head of Healthcare Services and Corporate Delivery, Tata 1mg said, “At Tata 1mg, our vision is to make quality healthcare accessible, affordable and convenient for every Indian. Senior citizens often require continuous medical support, making timely access to consultations, diagnostics and medicines especially important. Through this partnership with Manasum Senior Living, we are extending our integrated healthcare platform to organised senior living communities, enabling residents to access trusted healthcare services with greater convenience while encouraging preventive and continuous care.”

The partnership combines Manasum’s expertise in senior living with Tata 1mg’s integrated digital healthcare platform and underscores the growing role of healthcare as a key differentiator in India’s organised senior living sector, where operators are increasingly expanding beyond housing to create comprehensive care ecosystems for older adults.
