Micro Mitti, Bharat’s pioneering proptech real estate co-investment company, has unveiled Madhuvan Township in Indore — India’s first residential project built around the concept of “Healthy Homes” with a focus on air quality, wellness, and sustainable living.
Designed by renowned architect Sanjay Puri, the 30-acre township integrates nature and science to combat deteriorating air quality, marking a new benchmark in wellness-centric urban design. Beyond redefining how homes are built, the Rs 700-crore project is expected to generate over 2,000 jobs and transform Indore’s real estate landscape.
Micro Mitti, Bharat’s first proptech real estate co-investment company, has announced the launch of India’s first Healthy Homes Community – Madhuvan Township, a project designed with a focus on Air Quality Index (AQI), wellness, and sustainability.
The unveiling of Madhuvan comes at a critical juncture in India’s fight against air pollution. Earlier this month, the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago released its Air Quality Life Index (AQLI) 2025, declaring air pollution as the single most critical health threat in the country. The report highlights that all 1.4 billion Indians live in regions exceeding the WHO’s safe threshold for PM₂.₅ (5 µg/m³).
As the festive season approaches and Diwali nears, the risk of worsening air quality intensifies. In Delhi, PM₂.₅ levels peaked at nearly 603 µg/m³ at midnight during Diwali 2024 (Down To Earth, CSE). While the capital often makes headlines, Tier II cities are not far behind. In Lucknow, AQI spiked to 306 (“very poor”) the day after Diwali 2024, up from ~175 before the festival, according to various media reports.
Spread across 30 acres, Madhuvan Township is thoughtfully planned by India’s leading architect Sanjay Puri, with two-side open plots averaging 1,250 sq. ft., designed to feel like 2,400 sq. ft. homes. Nearly 55% of the site is dedicated to open green spaces, merging built structures with forest-inspired landscapes.
At Madhuvan, green living is more than a concept; it is a scientifically rooted design approach to improve air quality and enhance community health. The township is designed to host 465 families and is strategically located on the proposed 75-metre RE3 bypass, Indore.
Manoj Dhanotiya, Founder & CEO, Micro Mitti, said: “Real estate in India has always been measured by location, cost, and size. With Madhuvan, we are rewriting the priorities, health comes before homes. Our vision is clear: Life is bigger than location, Aim is bigger than money, and Health is the new wealth. Indore is showing India that the next generation of real estate must be designed for people, not just profit.”
Driving Economic Impact and Job Creation
Madhuvan Township is set to make a significant economic impact in MP’s Indore. The project is valued at Rs 700 crore that’s set to reshape the region’s real estate landscape. The total development cost, estimated between Rs 350–400 crore, encompasses land equity contributions, cutting-edge construction, world-class architecture, and state-of-the-art amenities designed to elevate modern lifestyles.
During the construction phase, the project will generate 300–400 direct jobs and support over 2,000 indirect livelihoods across materials, logistics, and vendor ecosystems. Upon completion, the township’s operations and maintenance will sustain over 80 jobs, including roles in maintenance, landscaping, club management, and township operations, fostering long-term economic growth in the region.
