March 28, 2026, marked a historic milestone for Noida, Greater Noida, Yamuna Expressway and the entire Delhi-NCR region as the much-awaited Noida International Airport at Jewar was officially inaugurated. The mega infrastructure project was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, along with senior government officials, industry leaders and investors.

The inauguration of the Noida International Airport is being seen as a turning point for the region, especially for real estate, logistics, business expansion and infrastructure development across Western Uttar Pradesh and NCR.       

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Jewar airport site in the presence of thousands of attendees including government officials, aviation authorities, real estate developers, investors, business leaders and local residents. The event was conducted with high security arrangements and traffic management due to the presence of top political leadership.

Real Estate Industry Reaction to Noida International Airport Inauguration
