New COO of LIC Housing Finance

Tribhuwan Adhikari has taken over as the new Chief Operating Officer of LIC Housing Finance Limited (LICHFL). Prior to this assignment, he was posted as Additional Director at Zonal Training  Center, Eastern Zone, Kolkata.

In his career with LIC spanning over three decades, he has worked all over the country. He has worked in the areas of marketing and information technology. He had the privilege of holding independent charge of two divisions of LIC-Dehradun (Uttarakhand) and Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) He has also worked as Brach In-charge at various locations of the Corporation.

Ramaiye Kapoor Appointed MD, Data Center at Colliers

Colliers has announced the appointment of Ramaiy Kapoor as the Managing Director , Data Center for its India business. Kapoor comes with a rich real estate experience and joins Colliers from CapitaLand where he was heading the investment and commercial division for their  India Data Center business. With key achievements  comprising successful deal closures of greenfield developments and collaborating with global teams on M&A deals, he has proven proficiencies in business strategy , deal structuring, negotiations, credit analysis and corporate finance, among others.

In his new role at Colliers, Ramaiy will work closely with the top India leadership to capture a higher market share and drive profitability for the firm’s  data center business, tapping into new opportunities and expanding client relations.

Gaurav Trehan Elevated as KKR’s Asia PE Head

KKR has appointed its India Chief Executive Gaurav Trehan as its Asia head for private equity. He will take over as KKR PE head for Asia from previous co-heads Ashish Shastry and Hira Hirano. Gaurav’s elevation follows his success as KKR India head.

Meanwhile Hirano has been named executive vice chairman of KKR in Asia Pacific while Shastry will assume the role of an advisor.

Keki Mistry, Renu Sud Karnad on HDFC Bank Board

The Board of HDFC Bank has given a nod to the appointment of Keki Mistry and Renu Sud Karnad as additional non-executive directors of the bank. Mistry was the chief executive officer and vice chairman of HDFC which merged with the bank on July 1 2023.

While  Mistry has been appointed to the board of the bank with effect from June 30, 2023, Karnad’s appointment comes through from July 1. Both these appointments are subject to share holders’ approval.

Prateek Chatterjee Made Group Chief Communication Officer of GMR 

GMR Group has named Prateek Chatterjee as Group Chief Communications Officer Prior to this, he worked with NIIT as its Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications and Marketing.

A senior communication leader, Chatterjee brings with him over 25 years of experience in building brand and corporate reputation across diverse industries including education, IT, real estate and hospitality. He has made notable contributions to organisations like Ansal API, Perfect Relations and India Habitat Centre.

Varun Kapoor is VP Marketing, Eldeco  

Varun Kapoor has taken over as the new vice president of Eldeco, a leading real estate group. Prior to this appointment, Kapoor served as assistant vice president marketing at Eldeco and Elan groups.

Kapoor brings with him over 16 years of rich experience in luxury, lifestyle retailand real estate with specialization in brand management, experiential marketing, brand alliances and affinity marketing, corporate marketing, business development, digital marketing, social media management and event management.
