Anant Raj Group’s USD 2.1 Billion Investment Plan for Data Centres

Delhi-based developer Anant Raj has firmed up its mega plans for data centres with a massive investment of INR 18000 crore (USD 2.1 billion). As per plans, the leading realty group will be launching two more data centres or server farms in Haryana, in addition to the one already operational.

According to Amit Sarin, Managing Director, Anant Raj, in line with the burgeoning growth of data centres capacity in India (set to grow by 77% to 1.8 gigawatt in the next 4 years), his company is aiming for a data centre capacity of more than 300 megawatt by 2032. With its ambitious growth plans in data centre business, Anant Raj Group wants to be in the league of biggies iike Adani Group and Reliance Industries.

Adani Realty Plans Mega Marquee Luxury Project in Mumbai

Adani Realty is working on its ambitious plans to develop Mumbai’s biggest luxury housing project over 20 acres along the Bandra-Worli Sea Link approach road, facing the Mahim Bay. The company will be developing this project on a parcel of land which it acquired from Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation for redevelopment in an auction.

This mega marquee project will have large-format apartments, duplexes and penthouses ranging from 5000 sq ft to 10000-12000 sq ft sizes with a potential price tag of INR 1 lakh per sq ft. These elite sea-facing homes to be designed by globally renowned architects, will have high-end amenities like a branded clubhouse, spa and salon, golf simulator and infinity pool.

Ever since its inception in 2010, Adani Realty’s project portfolio reportedly spanned over 200 million sq ft by April 2024. With a land bank of 130 million sq ft earmarked for future development, Adani Realty has been rapidly scaling up its operations through a mix of redevelopment projects and acquisitions. Recently Adani Group made highest offer of INR 12500 crore to acquire Jaiprakash Associates which is undergoing insolvency proceedings. Currently, it is redeveloping Mumbai’s Dharavi project while a redevelopment of Motinagar in Goregaon, Mumbai along with Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) is in the pipeline, at an estimated cost of INR 36000 crore. Adani Realty which had developed 600-acre Shantigram mixed-use township in Ahmedabad, is eyeing to develop a 1000-acre township in Navi Mumbai.

 Godrej Properties’ INR 600 cr Land Buy for Plotted Development in Panipat

Godrej Properties, which has been expanding its footprint in Delhi-NCR, has bought a 40-acre land parcel in Panipat to cash in on the emerging opportunities in this Tier-2 city. Strategically located on Delhi- Chandigarh highway, with proximity to KMP Expressway, Panipat will further get connectivity boost through Delhi-Panipat RRTS.

Godrej plans to take up   plotted development in Panipat where M3M group has already announced its plans for a residential township.    Godrej’s planned plotted development will have a development potential of 3 million sq ft.

Sobha Enters Greater Noida with a Luxury Project 

Bangalore-based Sobha Group has made its entry into Greater Noida with the launch of Sobha Aurum, an ultra-luxury residential development. Spread over 3.46 acres with a development potential of 9.3 lakh sq ft, the project features highrise expansive premium homes with high-end amenities.
