In a move to boost inter-PSU collaboration in infrastructure development, the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NBCC (India) Limited. The agreement paves the way for joint execution of key commercial, institutional, office, and residential projects across four major cities—Ghaziabad, Panchkula, Ahmedabad, and New Delhi.

      Projects Identified Under the MoU:

      * Commercial Plot Development – Kaushambi, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh)

      * Institutional Plot Development – Panchkula (Haryana)

      * Construction of Additional Blocks – HUDCO Regional Office, Ahmedabad (Gujarat)

      * Reconstruction of Residential Flats – Asian Games Village Complex, New Delhi

This will be executed on a turnkey basis as deposit work.

The MoU was officially signed by Sanjay Kulshresta, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), HUDCO, and K. P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), NBCC (India) Ltd.

Senior officials from both organizations were present during the signing ceremony, marking a commitment to further collaboration between the two state-owned enterprises.

      Strategic Significance

This partnership represents a mutual intent to leverage HUDCO’s design and urban planning expertise with NBCC’s proven execution capabilities in real estate and infrastructure projects. It also emphasizes the government’s continued focus on efficient land utilization and urban redevelopment through collaboration between central public sector undertakings (CPSUs).

The Kaushambi and Panchkula projects aim to boost commercial and institutional infrastructure.

The Ahmedabad and New Delhi projects focus on improving HUDCO’s own regional presence and enhancing residential facilities.
