Leveraging the booming growth in data centres,Anant Raj Limited is working on a INR 18000 crore plan to boost its data centre business. The plan involves setting up of two data centres in Haryana, in addition to the one already operational.
According to Amit Sarin, Managing Director, Anant Raj Group, the company is aiming for data centre capacity of over 300 megawatts by 2032. Data centres are expected to make up more than 40 percent of Anant Raj’s revenues in the next four years, up from 5 percent now. The company had tied up with the French IT company Orange Business to provide cloud services to its clients along with data centres last year.
Anant Raj’s expansion strategy is in sync with the big expansion plans of top corporates and realty companies and the fast-paced growth of of data centres in India, with the data centre capacity expected to touch 1.8 gigawatts in the next 4 years.
