The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority has approved 15 new real estate projects in eight districts of the state. These projects involve a total estimated investment of ₹4,826.31 crore. Around 5,303 residential and commercial units will be developed under these projects. This will promote planned urban development in the state and strengthen the growth of the real estate sector.
The projects were approved during the 206th meeting of the Authority held at the UP RERA Headquarters. The meeting was chaired by UP RERA Chairman Shri Sanjay Bhoosreddy. The projects were reviewed in the presence of senior officials. The Authority once again reiterated its commitment to ensuring transparent, rule-based and timely development while protecting the interests of homebuyers and strengthening investor confidence.
The approved projects include residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. These projects will help meet the growing demand for better housing and modern commercial facilities in different parts of the state. It will also be ensured that all projects are completed in accordance with the provisions of the RERA Act and within the prescribed timelines.
Projects Approved in Eight Districts
Gautam Buddha Nagar ranked first in terms of investment and the number of units to be developed. Three projects have been approved in the district with an estimated investment of ₹3,275.70 crore. These projects will develop 2,565 units. They include one residential project, one commercial project and one mixed-use project, which will help meet both residential and commercial needs in the city.
Lucknow ranked second in terms of investment and total units. Four residential projects with an estimated investment of ₹562.96 crore have been approved. These projects will develop 1,276 units, including flats, villas and plotted spaces. This will further boost residential development activities in the district.
Similarly, in Ghaziabad, two residential projects and one commercial project with an estimated investment of ₹557.40 crore have been approved. These projects will develop 636 residential and commercial units.
In Varanasi, one residential project with an estimated investment of ₹275.84 crore has been approved. The project will develop 236 residential units, helping expand better housing facilities in the city.
In Prayagraj, one residential project with an estimated investment of ₹71.51 crore has been approved. The project will develop 180 residential units.
Likewise, in Aligarh, one residential project with an estimated investment of ₹18.63 crore has been approved. The project will develop 30 residential units, expanding the availability of better housing facilities in the city.
In Baghpat, one residential project with an estimated investment of ₹38.69 crore has also been approved. The project will develop 206 residential units to meet the housing needs of the district.
In Bulandshahr, one residential project with an estimated investment of ₹25.58 crore has been approved. The project will develop 174 residential units.
Economic Growth to Gain Momentum, Employment Opportunities to Increase
With an investment of ₹4,826.31 crore in these projects, economic activities in the state are expected to gain new momentum. Construction activities will create both direct and indirect employment opportunities. Demand for construction materials, engineering services, transportation, logistics and other related sectors is also expected to increase, thereby strengthening the state’s economy.

Through simple and timely project approvals and regular monitoring of registered projects, the Authority aims to promote responsible and organized development while safeguarding the interests of homebuyers. The approval of these projects is another important step in that direction.
On the approval of the projects, UP RERA Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy said that the Authority is continuously working to built a transparent, effective and accountable regulatory framework in the real estate sector.
He said that timely project approvals and effective supervision is creating a better and more trustworthy environment for both promoters and homebuyers. He further stated that UP RERA will continue to ensure strict compliance with the provisions of the RERA Act, protect the interests of consumers and promote balanced and sustainable growth of the real estate sector in the state.
