COWRKS, India’s leading provider of flexible and managed workspaces, has announced that Cashfree Payments, one of the country’s leading payment companies, will establish its new corporate headquarters at the COWRKS Ecoworld centre in Bellandur, Bengaluru. The expansion comes as India’s office market witnesses its strongest performance on record, with gross absorption reaching 71.5 million sq. ft. in 2025 across the seven cities, a 6% year-on-year increase, reported by Colliers.
Designed and delivered by Enterprise Plus, COWRKS’ end-to-end managed office solution for Enterprises and Global Capability centres, Cashfree Payments’ new bespoke managed workspace spans across 80,000 square feet and is designed to support the company’s next phase of growth.
Mattew Parambil, Vice President & National Head – Revenue, COWRKS, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Cashfree Payments as they establish their new headquarters at Ecoworld, Bengaluru. We have designed and delivered a workspace that reflects their culture, scale, and ambition. With our end-to-end expertise in designing, building, and operating workspaces, combined with the Grade-A infrastructure of Brookfield Properties, we have created an environment where teams can collaborate, innovate, and thrive.”
Akash Sinha, CEO & Co-founder, Cashfree Payments, said: “Over the years, we have redefined how businesses across the globe move money, and the decade ahead will be about reimagining it with AI at the core. Our move to this new office is a testament to our commitment to building for the future of payments in an inspiring hub where our teams come together to innovate, collaborate, and design what’s next for India and beyond. As we planned our new headquarters, we looked beyond a workspace provider to a partner who could bring our vision to life, and partnering with COWRKS has helped us achieve exactly that. We chose this location for its ability to house a large and growing team under one roof while offering a premium, future-ready work environment as Cashfree continues to scale.”
India’s flexible workspace segment has emerged as one of the fastest-growing demand drivers, accounting for over 18% of total leasing activity in 2025 as enterprises increasingly seek agile, scalable and experience-led workplace solutions. Bengaluru remained the largest contributor to office demand in 2025, recording 22.1 million sq. ft. of gross absorption and accounting for nearly one-third of India’s total office uptake, as per Colliers.
This expansion supports COWRKS’ strategic plan to scale its managed workspace portfolio under the Enterprise Plus offering, reinforcing its leadership in India’s flexible workspace sector by delivering future-ready environments for global organisations.
