Bengaluru-based Agrocorp, one of Karnataka’s second home developers, has announced the launch of Vacation Village — India’s premium second home development and management brand — alongside the debut of its flagship project, Vacation Village, Chikkamagaluru, a refined hill-home community set within the landscapes of the Western Ghats.
Located in the scenic hill district of Chikkamagaluru in Karnataka, the project is envisioned as a distinctive vacation home destination where architecture, landscape, and nature come together. The development enjoys panoramic views of rolling hills, coffee estates, and surrounding mountain ranges, including Mullayanagiri — the highest peak in Karnataka. The community is designed around a Neo-Classical architectural theme, drawing from classical principles of symmetry, proportion, and timeless elegance to create a visually cohesive destination that feels like a landmark rather than a conventional plotted layout.
Chikkamagaluru — often referred to as the coffee land of Karnataka — has emerged as one of the most preferred second home destinations in the state. Known for its expansive coffee plantations, mist-covered hills, and pleasant year-round climate, the district is well connected to major urban centres, including Bengaluru, Mangaluru, and Mysuru, making it an ideal location for weekend getaways and extended retreats alike.
Vacation Village, Chikkamagaluru is offered as a plotted development with construction as a service. Homeowners secure their plot within a master-planned community and build their homes in alignment with the project’s architectural and density guidelines — with the developer providing architectural design concepts, 3D elevation designs, and construction services. Plots are priced starting from ₹50 lakh onwards, with construction undertaken separately, offering flexibility in investment and lifestyle timelines.
Vacation Village developments are designed around four principles: the selection of exceptional natural destinations; curated architecture and amenities that stand apart from conventional developments; engaging lifestyle experiences including nature walks, estate experiences, and seasonal community events; and an intentional focus on a discerning group of homeowners who value privacy, nature, architecture, and meaningful escapes from urban life.
“Vacation Village was conceived with the idea of creating thoughtfully designed second home communities in some of India’s most beautiful destinations. Chikkamagaluru, with its coffee estates, mountain views, and year-round pleasant climate, offers the perfect setting for a refined hill home experience. Through Vacation Village, we hope to create destinations where people can disconnect from city life and reconnect with nature — while enjoying the elegance and comfort of a well-designed community,” said Ayan Nagpal, Director, Vacation Village.
Vacation Village is an extension of the Agrocorp brand, which has spent over a decade delivering curated countryside and farmhouse communities in Bengaluru — including The Central Vista Farms, The Vineyard, and The Palm Reserve. Building on this legacy of theme-led second home developments, the company is now expanding its vision nationally through the Vacation Village brand, with the long-term objective of creating a portfolio of distinctive second home destinations across India’s most desirable travel locations.
Sales bookings have commenced, with approximately 10 per cent of the project inventory already booked. The site experience centre and sales office are currently under development. The project is expected to complete within 36 months of formal launch.
