Real estate developer Gillco Group has launched Gillco Meraqui, a premium residential project in Sector 126, Mohali, with an estimated investment of ₹800 crore. Spread across 12 acres on PR-7 Airport Road, the development is expected to generate around ₹1,200 crore in revenue and will feature 444 luxury apartments, along with premium lifestyle amenities and high-street retail.

The project will offer 3+1 and 4+1 bedroom apartments and will also include a clubhouse, landscaped open spaces, wellness and sports facilities, and a high-street retail component.

The project marks the first independent development under the leadership of Managing Director Tejpreet Singh Gill.

Speaking on the launch, Tejpreet Singh Gill, Managing Director, Gillco Group, said, “Meraqui represents the next phase of Gillco Group’s growth as we focus on creating design-led residential developments that address the evolving aspirations of homebuyers. Mohali continues to emerge as one of North India’s strongest residential markets, supported by infrastructure development and improving connectivity.”

Construction has commenced following the receipt of statutory approvals, and the company expects to complete the project within four years in accordance with RERA timelines.

Gillco Group said it has initially opened 250 apartments for sale. Homes are priced from approximately ₹11,500 per sq. ft., with apartment prices starting at around ₹4 crore, depending on configuration and location within the project.

The company said the project has been designed by architecture firm Morphogenesis, while Essajees Atelier is the interior design consultant.

Commenting on the project, Manit Rastogi, Founding Partner, Morphogenesis, said the master plan has been designed with a focus on creating a contemporary residential community with enduring architectural character and integrated open spaces.

The development draws inspiration from classical Greek design principles, reflected in its architectural language, landscape planning and arrival experience.

Located on PR-7 Airport Road, the project is expected to benefit from the region’s expanding infrastructure, proximity to Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport and growing commercial development.

Founded in 2001, Gillco Group has developed residential, commercial and industrial projects across Punjab and the Tricity region. The company says it has delivered over 17 projects covering approximately 43 million sq. ft. and served more than 6,000 families.
