Bengaluru’s hospitality landscape is set for a major expansion, with IHG Hotels & Resorts announcing the launch of two new properties—Crowne Plaza Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park and Holiday Inn Express Bengaluru KIADB Aerospace Park.
Slated to open in early 2028, the dual development will add over 420 rooms to the city’s growing inventory, targeting corporate travellers, aerospace and technology professionals, and MICE guests. Strategically located near Kempegowda International Airport and Bengaluru’s aerospace hub, the projects reflect IHG’s commitment to strengthening its presence in high-demand markets with a blend of premium and smart-stay experiences.
IHG Hotels & Resorts has also entered a management agreement with Hotel Chetan International for the launch of new properties in Bengaluru.
Strategically located within Bengaluru’s largest industrial and aerospace hubs and just a short drive from Kempegowda International Airport, the new properties are ideally placed to serve employees and visitors from prominent aerospace firms, technology companies, and Global Capability Centres (GCCs). The hotels will also benefit from proximity to the forthcoming BCCI Centre of Excellence and National Cricket Academy, situated directly across from the developments, along with strong residential and commercial catchments nearby. This positioning ensures steady demand from corporate travelers while also attracting guests from social, leisure, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segments.
Commenting on the signing, Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said: “We are delighted to strengthen our presence in Bengaluru with the addition of two strategically located hotels in the thriving KIADB Aerospace Park. The presence of leading aerospace and technology companies, coupled with the upcoming BCCI Centre of Excellence, makes this location a key demand generator across business, leisure, and social segments. With the introduction of Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express in this hub, we are confident of catering to a wide spectrum of travellers seeking both premium experiences and smart, convenient stays.”
He added: “Bengaluru continues to be one of India’s most dynamic markets, not only as the country’s technology capital but also as a hub for aerospace, research, education, and start-ups. This dual signing reinforces our commitment to expanding in high-potential destinations and providing diverse hospitality offerings across segments.”
HC Byregowda, Managing Partner, Hotel Chetan International, said: “We are pleased to partner with IHG Hotels & Resorts to bring Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express to KIADB Aerospace Park. The strategic location, coupled with IHG’s strong global systems and the IHG One Rewards loyalty programme, gives us great confidence in the success of these hotels. Together, we aim to deliver high-quality hospitality experiences that will cater to both domestic and international travellers.”
