India’s Grade A office markets remained resilient in the first half of 2026 despite global trade and economic uncertainties, with demand continuing to outpace new supply, according to Colliers.

Grade A office uptake reached 3.32 million sq m across the country’s top seven cities during H1. New Grade A completions totalled 2.09 million sq m, down 9% year on year, as developers adopted a more cautious approach to new supply.

With demand exceeding completions, vacancy fell by 101 basis points year on year to 15.2%. Average office rents increased by about 7.5% over the same period.

Colliers said the rental growth and declining vacancy reflected sustained occupier demand for high-quality Grade A offices across India’s leading markets, highlighting the resilience of the country’s office sector despite a more uncertain global economic backdrop.
